Overview

The public outreach program was developed to create a process that ensured extensive involvement and input by stakeholders, interested parties, affected publics and others in the development and preparation of the Denver Union Station Master Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The program recognizes the highly visible nature of Denver Union Station to the community and its importance to the Lower Downtown area, downtown Denver and the region as a whole.

Additionally, the public involvement process is designed to build public support for the Master Plan and EIS for the purpose of ensuring its success and eventual implementation. To this end, a number of public involvement opportunities, communication methods and outreach efforts are being carried out to involve and inform as many citizens and businesses as possible during the course of the project.
